Who We Are
Municipal Parking Services (MPS) designs, engineers, manufactures and assembles the Sentry smart city platform. The platform includes, meters, kiosks, enforcement applications, mobile payment applications and no parking zone enforcement devices known as SafetySticks. MPS is headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota and also operates a subsidiary in Canada.

Your Data Rights

Types of Data and Collection Methods
When you request information, subscribe for a service, use any of our products, register as a user for our services and mobile applications, respond to an online survey, or otherwise actively send us data; we only collect the data which is necessary to make use of that service or application.
Children’s Privacy Notice
All MPS products and applications (services) are intended for adults. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect, personally-identifiable information from children under the age of 16 and we request that individuals under the age of 16 not submit any personally identifiable information to our services. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, please contact MPS at firstname.lastname@example.org to allow us to remove any and all information relating to that child.

Where We Store and Process Data
MPS stores and processes data in the United States of America for US based municipalities. MPS stores and processes data in Canada for Canadian based municipalities. The length of time the data is stored is in direct compliance with the data retention policies of the municipality the data was generated in.
We may transfer personal information to countries that have privacy laws that have been recognized by the country from which the data are transferred as providing similar protections for the data.
We may enter into written agreements with recipients that require them to provide the same level of protection for the data.
We may rely on other transfer mechanisms approved by authorities in the country from which the data are transferred.
Disclosures of Personal Information
At MPS, we only share personal information in ways that we tell you about. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties and we do not share personal information with third parties that are not owned by us or under our control or direction except as described in this Policy. We freely share your information within the MPS of companies. We also share your information with agents and service providers who use the data only on our behalf and for our purposes under confidentiality agreements. We may share your information as required by law, in the interest of public safety, or in the interest or protecting or exercising our or others’ legal rights, e.g., without limitation, in connection with requests from law enforcement officials and in connection with court proceedings.
Keeping and Securing Your Data
We will keep personal information about you for as long as we provide services to you, or as long as we are addressing a concern, question, complaint, or request you have made to us, as applicable to our interactions with you. If we have a contract or other agreement with you, we will follow the retention obligations of that agreement.

However, we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. It is your responsibility to safeguard any password and User ID you use to access the site and to notify us through email@example.com if you ever suspect that this password or User ID has been compromised. You are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of the site conducted via your password and User ID.
