Dear Investor,
It’s been an EPIC 10 days of developments for MPS on the patent front!
Last week, I shared incredible news about our victory with the U.S. Patent Office.
I have even more exciting updates. As you know, we sued Clancy Systems for violating three of our patents. In response, Clancy challenged the validity of all three. Last week, I told you that we had won on two of them and were still waiting on the third.
Well, I’m thrilled to announce that we just received the decision from the U.S. Patent Office on the third patent – and we won again! Not only were all three patents validated, but the Patent Office also confirmed every claim within each patent (see attached notice).
That’s a clean sweep – we ran the table on them.
And it gets even better...
Yesterday, the Patent Office delivered another monster victory for MPS. We were awarded a new U.S. patent that significantly expands the scope of our parking lot and garage intellectual property. Most importantly, this new patent builds on the three patents that were just reaffirmed by the U.S. Patent Office.
Below is a sample summary of the newly granted claims, all of which apply to methods where our fixed-based camera system is used to monitor and enforce parking. Many of these represent massive and now protected opportunities:
Transmitting vehicle identification to law enforcement (e.g., identifying stolen vehicles or those with outstanding warrants within the management and enforcement platform).
Providing a kiosk with EV charging that also collects parking payments within the management and enforcement platform).
Automatically detecting parking violations based on a vehicle classification (e.g., handicap, employee-only, transient parkers, etc.).
Directing enforcement personnel to issue citations based on real-time violations.
Automatically sending notices to boot or tow a vehicle if it has exceeded a set number of violations.
You’ve likely experienced or seen one or more of these in action – if so, I’d love to hear where!
Recent SafetySticks Wins:
In addition to our exciting patent activity, we continue to see great success with recent SafetyStick wins.
We received a signed contract last week from North Arlington, NJ. They were so excited about working with us that they published a story two days before even signing the contract! Read the article here.
Dover, NJ City Council unanimously voted last night to approve a sole source resolution for MPS SafetySticks.
We completed our first installation in South Carolina at Columbia Metro Airport. Within a week, they were so impressed that they ordered six more sticks!
Existing customers have re-ordered nearly 100 sticks in the last few weeks, including Somerville, Linden, Wilkes-Barre, Lynn, the University of Texas, and Manchester-by-the-Sea. As I always say, the best order we can get is an expansion order.

Let’s go, MPS!!
Hold on to your hat!
